In life and in change management, consistency isn’t always easy…

Change Leadership Buzzwords – The Phenomenon of Resilience
The Phenomenon of Resilience
This mega management buzzword is bandied around almost as much as resistance.
The story for resilience is that it can enable your change to succeed.
Are you a Negative Nellie?
Being optimistic when things are going badly means you are looking for the best way to make it better. Not deluded. And if you are optimistic and persistent, you’ll probably find the best way to make it better too.
What Happens if it all goes wrong?
There’s lots of theory that failure is a great learning device, should be welcomed, encouraged and supported. And I absolutely agree. There also lots of talk about 70% of changes failing with little or no evidence and with that we do not agree, if it wasn’t frowned...
Who is writing your story?
To change the narrative, change the stories. The organisational stories, the team stories, the individual stories. Better stories, better change.
Learning Through Change
Learning during change is often essential, but do we really give it enough time? Not because we don’t care (heaven forbid) but because we’ll do it later, tomorrow, anon. We push it out. And that gives us two problems, you aren’t equipped to enter into the change, or you aren’t ready to get through it.
What can we do about it?
Choose Transition.
Using Bridges Transition Model gives a different perspective, an opportunity for change leaders to understand the emotional perspective of those affected by the change and actively support transition.
Time to change.
Change is messy. We are asking you to become something different in self, action or deed. And that can feel rough.
The Journey Begins
And then it all became real. Here we go.
